SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL (September 20, 2017)- Below are post-storm updates from Seminole County Emergency Management, as of 9/20/17.

POWER RESTORATION:
Duke and FP&L report complete power restoration to all addresses able to receive power.
A small number of homes and businesses remain without power, due to individual electrical repairs or due to flooding.  In those cases, homeowners and/or business operators should contact licensed electricians to conduct repairs on their personal property or wait until water has receded. Once this occurs, power will be restored to those individuals.

EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL PERMITTING:
Storm damage requiring electrical work should be completed by a licensed electrician. To expedite the repair process, your contracted electrician can call 407-665-7467 to register to complete work and file the permit after work is complete. Please note, the electrician should call Seminole County Development Services before work begins.

DEBRIS QUESTIONS:
Seminole County will host a Debris Collection Live Chat on Facebook tomorrow, Thursday, September 21, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A graphic will be posted to www.facebook.com/seminolecounty for residents to post questions to, while Seminole County Solid Waste staff respond to questions. Residents may also call 407-665-2260 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to reach Solid Waste Customer Service.

DEBRIS COLLECTION FOR LANDSCAPERS:
Landscapers may visit the Seminole County Landfill or the Central Transfer Station and dispose of vegetative debris at the reduced, flat rate cost of $4.00 per truck or trailer load. This rate applies through Sunday. For locations, visit www.seminolecountyfl.gov.

WATER CONSERVATION:
All Seminole County residents are encouraged to conserve water. While all lift stations are fully operational, three lift stations remain on generator power as the County awaits power restoration to the affected equipment. The other 321 County lift stations are operating on regular grid power. For more information and frequently asked questions, visit www.seminolecountyfl.gov/irma.
